New AI capabilities will also allow users to safely and conveniently manage their homes through device-to-device connectivity using the SmartThings platform, secured by Knox Matrix security.
Realizing an End-to-End Software Network
Samsung will also present how it is advancing next-generation networks with AI, including its versatile vRAN solution, the latest 5G radios, and the Samsung CognitiV Network Operations Suite (NOS), allowing network operators to apply AI in every layer of their networks. The company will highlight its efforts in elevating software-based networks with its partner ecosystem. Samsung CognitiV NOS can also bring benefits to telecom operators across the lifecycle of its network. A private 5G network zone will display Samsung’s collaboration with Hyundai, showcasing their joint end-to-end Reduced Capability (RedCap) trial over a private 5G network. This demonstrates the potential improvements in battery life and energy efficiency for 5G IoT devices.
Samsung will be demonstrating these AI innovations at its Galaxy Experience Booth in Fira Gran Via Hall 3. A private booth will also showcase Samsung’s network solutions, located in Fira Gran Via Hall 2.
