    ECRI’s Top 10 Health Technology Hazards for 2025 report, now in its 18th year, is a crucial resource for healthcare organizations. This influential report identifies and prioritizes the most critical and emerging risks associated with healthcare technology.

    This year’s list highlights risks that demand immediate attention across hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgery centers, device manufacturers, and regulatory agencies. Its purpose: to guide these organizations in recognizing and mitigating hazards which could compromise patient safety and staff well-being.

    ECRI evaluates and prioritizes risks across a wide array of technologies to offer actionable recommendations to the healthcare industry to reduce these dangers.
