March 10 (Reuters) – BBVA (BBVA.MC), a major Spanish bank, announced on Monday that it has received the green light from the country’s securities regulator to offer Bitcoin and Ether trading services.
The bank plans to roll out a service enabling clients to securely buy, sell, and manage Bitcoin and Ether transactions directly through its mobile application. This move signifies growing acceptance of cryptocurrencies within the traditional financial sector.
