The White House will host a first-of-its-kind summit on March 7, bringing together key figures from the cryptocurrency industry.
The announcement, made on Friday by the Office of Communications, revealed the summit will include “prominent founders, CEOs, and investors from the crypto industry, as well as members of the President’s Working Group on Digital Assets.” Leading the summit will be the White House A.I. & Crypto Czar David Sacks, with Executive Director of the Working Group, Bo Hines, administering the event.

This summit underscores the administration’s commitment to the digital asset sphere, as highlighted by one of President Trump’s early executive orders. The order outlined a goal to “support the responsible growth and use of digital assets, blockchain technology, and related technologies across all sectors of the economy.”
President Trump has previously stated his intention to make the U.S. the “crypto capital” of the world. His family’s foray into digital currency, which included an address by Eric Trump at Bitcoin MENA 2024 in Abu Dhabi, further signals this focus. Eric Trump told the audience, “You’re going to have the most pro-crypto president in the history of America.”
Vice President Vance is scheduled to deliver similar remarks at a16z’s American Dynamism Summit in Washington next month, signaling the Republican’s growing presence in this sector.
The White House aims to provide a clear regulatory framework for crypto investors, protecting economic liberty in the process, according to the Office of Communications.
