Manus, currently accessible via an invitation-only web preview, has demonstrated its abilities through a video on its website, manus.im. The video showcases the agent’s capability to create a custom website through a step-by-step process. The website also lists numerous other potential tasks, including:
- Devising travel itineraries for Japan
- Providing in-depth analysis of Tesla’s stock
- Creating interactive courses for middle school teachers
- Comparing different insurance policies
- Assisting in business-to-business supplier sourcing
It is also claimed that Manus can outperform OpenAI’s Deep Research based on the GAIA benchmark, a third-party measure of general AI assistants.
While the team behind Manus has kept a low profile, releasing little information about its corporate structure or the underlying models, its demonstration video has sparked significant interest. The video, which was posted on X on Wednesday evening, had garnered over 200,000 views by noon the following day, with many individuals requesting an invitation code to try the agent.
