Global Edge Worldwide Fund has pledged $100 million to the ONE AMAZON initiative, a project designed to transform the Amazon Rainforest into an investable asset by leveraging technology and sustainable finance.
Gorilla Technology (NASDAQ: GRRR) is participating as a minority investor and key technology partner, providing AI-driven data intelligence and IoT solutions to create the Internet of Forests™ (IoF™). This network will monitor and monetize the rainforest’s ecological value.
The ONE AMAZON initiative involves several strategic partners. PSG Digital will lead the development of blockchain and tokenization, while Gorilla Technology will implement AI-powered analytics, biodiversity tracking, and blockchain verification models.
