Nvidia, xAI Collaborate with Microsoft and BlackRock on AI Infrastructure
AI chip giant Nvidia and Elon Musk’s xAI will join forces with Microsoft and BlackRock to develop infrastructure for artificial intelligence. Abu Dhabi-backed investment company MGX is also involved in the project, which has been renamed the AI Infrastructure Partnership.
This initiative addresses the growing demand for computational power driven by deep learning and large-scale data processing, which require substantial energy resources. To meet these demands, tech companies are deploying thousands of chips in clusters, leading to a surge in the need for specialized data centers.
The partnership aims to generate $30 billion in initial capital from investors, asset owners, and corporations, potentially mobilizing up to $100 billion in total investment, including debt financing, the group announced. This investment will be crucial in expanding the infrastructure required to support advanced AI technologies.

AI technologies are transforming industries, requiring robust infrastructure.
