Bert Hoyt’s Background and Contributions
Hoyt began his career at Puma in 1989 and later joined Nike in 1998, where he served as Vice President & General Manager of Nike Western Europe and EMEA for nine years. He was instrumental in Nike’s growth in Europe, increasing revenue from US$3 billion to US$7 billion in Western Europe and over US$10 billion in EMEA, with a 24% EBIT. Since retiring from Nike in 2021, Hoyt has served as a non-executive Director at several companies, including JD Sports PLC and Cosnova GmbH.
