The National Innovation Centre of Vietnam (NIC), with support from the Tony Blair Institute and ADT Global Vietnam, organized a national pavilion and ‘Vietnam Day’ at GITEX Asia 2025 in Singapore. This technology exhibition, held from April 23-25 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention and Exhibition Centre, attracted 1,000 businesses and startups from around the world, with over 20,000 high-quality technology buyers and more than 250 dynamic investors from over 120 countries.
Vietnamese Pavilion and Innovation Showcase
The Vietnamese pavilion featured advanced technology products and solutions from outstanding Vietnamese enterprises. It provided a platform for Vietnamese businesses to connect with potential investors and partners while introducing their startups and innovative initiatives. The ‘Vietnam Day’ event created an energetic atmosphere for innovative ideas, with discussions focusing on leveraging Vietnam’s competitive advantages in innovation and positioning the country as the next innovation hub in Southeast Asia.

Key Highlights and Future Prospects
Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore Tran Phuoc Anh emphasized that the Vietnamese government has identified innovation and technology as main drivers for breakthrough growth. NIC Deputy Director Kim Ngoc Thanh Nga and Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President of the Dubai World Trade Centre, signed a Memorandum of Understanding, officially announcing the organization of GITEX Frontier in Vietnam in 2026 and 2027. This milestone is expected to enhance Vietnam’s innovation status on the international stage and create new opportunities for Vietnamese businesses in the global technology market.
