    Enhancing Event Engagement with Impulse

In today’s event landscape, the overuse of mobile phones can detract from the intimate experiences that make gatherings special. Impulse, launched by Gradient Experience in August 2023, offers a solution that empowers attendees to be present while still capturing memories. This innovative technology enables event-goers to receive professional photos directly from the event via SMS and messaging apps, eliminating the need for separate platforms or apps.

Here’s how it works: guests opt-in to receive event photos by uploading a selfie and phone number through a QR code. The selfie is deleted after the event, ensuring privacy. This approach not only enhances the attendee experience but also provides brands with valuable engagement metrics and content.

    Successful Implementations

    • At Meryll Rogge’s four-year anniversary show in March 2024, Impulse achieved 81.3% participation among attendees, with 9,200 faces scanned across all photos. The technology facilitated over 1,500 messages, including invitations for private appointments with the designer.
    • L’Oréal Paris’s Women of Worth gala in November 2023 saw 35% participation, with 1,109 faces scanned and an average of seven pictures per guest. Impulse also created a custom filter for photo moments.
    • At a NARS leadership conference in April 2024, Impulse helped drive foot traffic to the brand’s booth, scanning over 4,000 faces and generating over 300 messages that resulted in more than 100 Impulse signups.
    • Veuve Clicquot’s Polo Classic in October 2024 experienced significant engagement, with 10,000 messages exchanged, 4,000 pictures sent to guests, and 6,300 personalized gallery views.

    The Future of Event Engagement

Impulse’s founders, Anthony Coppers and Martin Rogard, are committed to expanding their technology’s capabilities. The company has recently added Brandon Berman as co-founder, signaling plans for further growth and adoption across the industry. By transforming event data into actionable metrics and creating lasting connections between brands and consumers, Impulse is poised to revolutionize the future of engagement marketing.

With its innovative approach to content creation and distribution, Impulse is setting a new standard for event engagement and marketing ROI.
