GITEX ASIA x Ai Everything Singapore Kicks Off with Capacity Crowds
The inaugural GITEX ASIA x Ai Everything Singapore tech event, held at Marina Bay Sands from April 23-25, 2025, concluded its first day with capacity crowds, setting the stage for a new era in Asia’s tech industry. Organized by Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and KAOUN International in affiliation with GITEX GLOBAL, the event brought together 700+ enterprises and award-winning startups from 20+ industry sectors and 70+ countries.

Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President of DWTC and CEO of KAOUN International, emphasized the event’s mission to connect global ecosystems and foster collaboration in the AI economy. “We’re delighted to launch the region’s largest inaugural tech, startup, and digital investments event here in Singapore,” she said. “It’s about driving public-private partnerships and cross-industry, cross-continental collaboration because that’s the only way to go even faster and further in the new AI economy.”

The event featured powerful debates on pressing tech topics, including cybersecurity threats projected to reach $23 trillion by 2027. H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity, UAE Government, stressed the importance of building a security culture that transcends national boundaries. “Cybercrime does not distinguish between nations, businesses, startups, or people – and this is why we must be the first line of defence against malicious actors,” he stated.

The conference also explored Asia’s healthcare revolution, with projections suggesting the market could reach $5 trillion by 2030. Datuk Dr. Kuljit Singh, President of the Association of Private Hospitals, Malaysia, highlighted the need for digital health companies to prioritize transparency and patient safety in AI-driven diagnostics.
The event will continue through April 25, featuring North Star Asia, Ai Everything, and GITEX Quantum Expo Asia. With its comprehensive coverage of technology’s new frontiers, GITEX ASIA x Ai Everything Singapore is poised to shape the future of Asia’s tech industry.
