AWS Imagine Nonprofit 2025: Empowering Nonprofits with Cloud Technology
The annual AWS Imagine for Nonprofits conference, presented by Amazon Web Services (AWS), is set to take place on March 26 at Amazon HQ2 outside of Washington, DC. This no-cost, in-person event brings together nonprofit visionaries and leading technologists to explore how the latest technology can enhance nonprofit missions.
Inspiring Nonprofit Leaders on the Future of Change
The event will kick off with a keynote address that delves into how nonprofits can harness cloud technology to make smarter decisions using data and insights, expand their mission delivery through enhanced engagement, and amplify human potential with intelligence and automation. Notable speakers include Bernice Martin Lee, CEO of the Epilepsy Foundation, and Niraj Swami, senior director of conservation tech strategy and enablement at The Nature Conservancy. These nonprofit leaders will share insights on how strategic technology adoption can amplify a nonprofit’s capacity for change.
Discover How Technology Can Transform Your Mission
The Imagine Nonprofit conference features two learning tracks: Inspire and Build. The Inspire track will showcase visionary sessions from nonprofit leaders, illustrating how technology transforms lives and expands mission impact. The Build track will offer deeper dives and hands-on workshops about cloud solutions, including generative AI services like Amazon Q and Amazon Bedrock, to help nonprofits build scalable, cost-effective cloud architectures.
Some of the pressing topics to be covered include:
- Making the case for technology funding in the social sector
- Real-world perspectives on responsible AI adoption
These sessions will feature speakers from prominent organizations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Royal Bank of Canada Foundation, and FINCA International, among others.
