Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has emphasized the significance of artificial intelligence in bridging the technology divide and transforming the workforce. Speaking at the 28th annual Milken Institute Global Conference, Huang revealed that he personally uses AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini Pro, and Perplexity as a daily tutor. “I use it as a tutor every day,” Huang said, explaining that he starts with simple explanations and gradually moves to more complex topics. Huang believes that AI has the potential to be a great equalizer, making it possible for people to interact with technology in their own language. “Artificial intelligence is the greatest opportunity for us to close the technology divide,” he noted. At the conference, attended by global leaders and tech executives, Huang pointed out that while few people may know specialized coding languages like C++, everyone can effectively “program” AI by communicating with it in their preferred language. Huang encouraged students to leverage AI as a tutoring tool, warning that those who ignore this technology risk being left behind. “Don’t be that person who ignores this technology and this result loses you,” he cautioned. While acknowledging that AI will impact jobs, Huang emphasized that it’s not about AI replacing humans, but rather humans who use AI replacing those who don’t. “You’re not going to lose your job to AI,” he said. “You’re going to lose your job to someone who uses AI.” Nvidia, known for producing high-demand chips for AI models, has seen significant market success, briefly reaching a $3 trillion market cap in June before settling at $2.8 trillion. Huang’s vision includes creating “100 million AI assistants,” highlighting his commitment to integrating AI into various aspects of work and education.
