NVIDIA and Foxconn Deepen Partnership to Boost AI Computing in Taiwan
TAIPEI, Taiwan, May 18, 2025 — NVIDIA and Foxconn Hon Hai Technology Group have announced a significant expansion of their partnership to build an AI factory supercomputer. This initiative aims to deliver state-of-the-art NVIDIA Blackwell infrastructure to researchers, startups, and industries across Taiwan.
Foxconn’s subsidiary, Big Innovation Company, will provide the AI infrastructure as an NVIDIA Cloud Partner. The AI factory will feature 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, significantly expanding AI computing availability and fueling innovation for Taiwan’s researchers and enterprises.
Key Features of the AI Factory Supercomputer
- NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra systems: Including the NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 rack-scale solution with NVIDIA NVLink, NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand, and NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking.
- Advanced AI Computing: Orders-of-magnitude faster performance compared to previous-generation systems, benefiting TSMC researchers and other industry players.
- AI Cloud Computing Resources: The Taiwan National Science and Technology Council will utilize the Big Innovation Company supercomputer to provide AI cloud computing resources, accelerating AI development and adoption across various sectors.

It will help optimize connected transportation systems, enable advanced driver-assistance systems, and streamline operations through AI-driven analytics and digital twin technologies.

The system is expected to provide computing resources to speed the work of startups and developers through the NVIDIA Inception program and the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute. By leveraging this advanced AI infrastructure, Taiwan aims to create a smart AI island filled with smart cities, fostering a strong AI industry and encouraging the everyday use of AI tools.
