Sikshin, a food technology company operating the mobile food service ‘Sikshin e-Food Ticket,’ has launched ‘Standby Widget,’ a new content service utilizing its LLM-based AI data platform ‘MetaDex.’ The service exposes food service data-based restaurant content in widget form on websites and mobile services, allowing for high-quality content insertion without separate operating resources or management issues due to automatic updates.
Key Features of Standby Widget
The service provides a trendy recommendation ranking by analyzing about 1 million restaurant data and various user data such as visit history, search logs, and reviews of over 3.5 million users monthly. Users can organize intuitive and click-inducing content, such as pet-friendly cafes in Namyangju or golf course restaurants recommended by the president.

According to Sikshin, a website test showed a 33% increase in page stay time, a 67% increase in advertising revenue per page, and over 50% increase in daily advertising revenue after introducing Standby Widget. This makes it an attractive content solution for marketers, food service promoters, and online platform operators lacking content planning or production capacity.
Business Impact and Future Plans
Sikshin plans to help corporate customers easily use dining content in their services while expanding real-time dining trend data distribution channels based on MetaDex. CEO Ahn Byung-ik stated, ‘Standby Widget automates the process of converting food service data into content so anyone can easily use it. We will continue strengthening our competitiveness as a food service data platform using AI-based technology.’
The launch of Standby Widget positions Sikshin as a provider of innovative content solutions for the food service industry, leveraging its AI data platform to enhance user engagement and revenue potential for its clients.
