Ohio University’s Kids on Campus Program Announces Tech Savvy 2025
The College of Health Sciences and Professions’ Kids on Campus program is pleased to announce that registration is now open for its annual Tech Savvy event, scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2025. This exciting one-day program offers students in grades 5-9 a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on STEM activities led by world-renowned women researchers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields.

“Tech Savvy is an empowering experience for our regional students, providing them with a chance to interact with professionals shaping the future of STEM fields,” said Daniel Rogers, program manager for Kids on Campus. “Building on last year’s success, we’re committed to making this year’s event even better, thanks to the support of the Paula Tolliver Appalachian OHIO STEM Fund.”
The event, taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Ohio University’s Athens Campus Grover Center, includes dynamic workshops for both students and their parents. While students participate in STEM-focused activities, parents will attend separate workshops designed to help them support their child’s educational journey and foster their interest in STEM fields.
