Defense Tech Startup Anduril Industries Valued at $30.5 Billion After $2.5 Billion Funding Round
Defense technology startup Anduril Industries has achieved a valuation of $30.5 billion following a successful funding round where it raised $2.5 billion. The company announced this on Thursday, marking a significant increase from its $14 billion valuation last year when it secured $1.5 billion.

This latest funding round was led by tech billionaire Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund, which invested $1 billion. Other investors increased their commitments from previous rounds in the Series G fundraise. Founders Fund has been a consistent supporter of Anduril since its founding in 2017, with company co-founder Trae Stephens being a partner at the firm.
Anduril specializes in developing various defense solutions, including sensors and drones. The company has gained significant prominence in the industry due to the growing demand for low-cost autonomous defense products. Recently, Anduril partnered with Palantir Technologies to form a consortium aiming to bid for government contracts as the Pentagon focuses on reducing costs.
The development confirms a Reuters report from February that indicated Anduril was in discussions to raise up to $2.5 billion. With this latest funding, Anduril continues to strengthen its position in the defense technology sector.
