TEKNOFEST 2025 Set to Take Flight in Istanbul
Türkiye’s flagship technology, aviation, and space event, TEKNOFEST, is scheduled to return to Istanbul from September 17 to 21. The five-day extravaganza will transform Ataturk Airport into a hub of innovation and technological advancement.

The event, as announced by Türkiye’s Industry and Technology Ministry, promises to be an spectacular display of cutting-edge technology, thrilling air shows, and competitive events that captivate millions of visitors. TEKNOFEST follows a biennial pattern, being held in various Turkish cities during even years and consistently returning to the metropolitan landscape of Istanbul in odd years.
In the year preceding this event, TEKNOFEST was hosted in Adana, drawing an impressive attendance of around 1.1 million visitors. The year 2023 marked a special occasion as TEKNOFEST was organized three times – in Istanbul, the capital city Ankara, and the Aegean city of Izmir – in celebration of Türkiye’s centennial.
Earlier this year, TEKNOFEST made history by being held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) from May 1 to 4, attracting 225,000 attendees. This instance marked the event’s second international outing, following its successful appearance in Azerbaijan in 2022.
Since its inception in 2018, TEKNOFEST has grown significantly, welcoming nearly 10.7 million people through its doors. Anadolu has been the global communications partner for TEKNOFEST since 2018, underscoring the event’s pivotal role in fostering innovation and technical growth within Türkiye.
