Walmart and health technology company Soda Health are collaborating to launch the Walmart Everyday Health Signals program, designed for select Medicare Advantage and Medicaid members. This innovative initiative aims to support participants’ wellness efforts by providing personalized nutrition guidance and insights based on their retail shopping data.
The program is structured to help members make informed day-to-day decisions that contribute to better health and wellbeing. By leveraging real-time retail insights and targeted benefit delivery, the initiative addresses key population health challenges by meeting individuals where they are in their everyday shopping experiences.
Members who enroll in the program can opt-in to receive tailored nutrition and wellness insights based on their shopping patterns on Walmart.com. This includes detailed nutritional information about their purchases, such as fruits and vegetables, as well as identification of products that can help them achieve their wellness goals. Additionally, participants receive customized healthy recipes and shopping lists to support their health objectives.
Key Features of the Program
- Participants can select a wellness objective and receive guidance tailored to their goals and personal shopping habits.
- Members are provided with data-driven insights to help navigate food choices and lifestyle changes.
- The information gathered may also be used by health plans to identify additional benefits that support members’ overall health and wellness.
