Since its launch in April, Meta AI’s discover feed has become inundated with users’ personal conversations with the AI, ranging from intimate details about their lives to profound philosophical inquiries about the world. As the feature gained traction, some users began to deliberately create and share humorous exchanges with Meta AI. Others have taken to publishing AI-generated images tackling sensitive political topics, such as a depiction of former President Donald Trump in a diaper, as well as inappropriate content featuring minors. Additionally, some users have used the platform to promote their businesses. In one notable instance, an individual whose real name was apparently visible asked the AI to delete a conversation after posing an embarrassing question.
