Avant Technologies to Create New Company for Diabetes Program Expansion

LAS VEGAS, June 24, 2025 – Avant Technologies Inc. (OTCQB: AVAI), an emerging technology company developing healthcare solutions using artificial intelligence (AI) and biotechnology, announced plans to create a new company to house a potential joint venture, partnership, or acquisition as it expands its interests in diabetes.

Avant’s Chief Executive Officer, Chris Winter, stated, “It is the work we’re doing with Ainnova to screen diabetes patients to identify early signs of diabetic retinopathy that is driving Avant to contribute even more to the fast-growing disease – a potential treatment.” The company is exploring several promising opportunities to develop a treatment for diabetes globally.

In late 2024, Avant entered into a joint venture and licensing agreement with Ainnova Tech, Inc., forming Ai-nova Acquisition Corp (AAC) to advance Ainnova’s technology portfolio, including its Vision AI platform and retinal cameras. Vision AI is a cutting-edge, AI-driven platform that detects diabetic retinopathy and other retinal diseases with high accuracy using retinal scans. It can also identify diseases unrelated to the retina, such as cardiovascular disease, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, fatty liver diseases, and chronic kidney disease.

With over 500 million people living with diabetes globally, Vision AI aims to detect early markers of diseases like diabetic retinopathy, which is the leading cause of blindness among working-age adults. Avant expects that its new relationship will enable it to expand its diabetes program to both identify early markers of the disease and treat diabetes.

Avant Technologies Inc. is an emerging technology company developing healthcare solutions using AI and biotechnologies. The company focuses on pushing the boundaries of what is possible in these fields, serving various industries and driving progress through state-of-the-art technology.
