On Tuesday, February 26, Donald Trump, the former US President, shared a peculiar AI-generated video on his Truth Social account. The video presents a somewhat surreal vision of Gaza transformed into a beachfront resort.
The AI-created footage, which appears to be fan-made, features an image of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu relaxing on a beach alongside Trump. The words “Trump Gaza” are superimposed between the two men. Other bizarre elements include Elon Musk eating hummus and golden statues of Trump. The video also includes Tesla cars and somewhat inexplicably, bearded women dancing on the beach.
Trump, aged 78, shared the video without any accompanying comment.
Earlier this year, Trump revealed plans for Gaza. These include developing the area into what he called the “Riviera of the Middle East” and relocating two million Gazans to neighboring countries.
