iExec Announces Strategic 2025 Roadmap
Paris, France – February 27th, 2025 – Web3 protocol iExec has revealed its comprehensive roadmap for 2025, outlining key initiatives designed to bolster the utility of its native RLC token, expand its integration with Artificial Intelligence (AI), and accelerate the growth of its decentralized ecosystem. This multi-faceted plan aims to fortify iExec’s position in confidential computing and decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN).

Enhancing RLC Token Value and Utility
One of the primary focuses of iExec’s 2025 strategy is to amplify the role of the RLC token within the Web3 space. iExec plans to achieve this through several key initiatives:
- Expanded Liquidity and Accessibility: iExec will forge new collaborations with centralized exchanges to improve trading access for RLC. Simultaneously, the team will broaden liquidity pools on decentralized exchanges (DEXs), offering enhanced liquidity and new incentive programs for token holders.
- Scaling the iExec Voucher Mechanism: The iExec Voucher mechanism, which entered closed beta in 2024, is set to scale significantly. This will involve simplifying the process for developers to utilize the token to pay for resources, effectively locking more RLC within the iExec ecosystem.
“For 2025 and beyond, we have a clear focus on expanding access to our technology and increasing RLC’s value within a growing ecosystem,” said Gilles Fedak, CEO and co-founder of iExec. “This roadmap reflects our commitment to developers, users, and partners, and being at the forefront of emerging trends.”
Expanding Trusted AI Capabilities
Given the rising global interest in trusted AI, iExec will focus on expanding its capabilities in this area. The company plans to build upon its existing Trusted Domain Extensions (TDX) leveraging Intel’s technology alongside existing SGX technology. This will increase TDX workerpool availability to secure AI computations. The iExec initiative will roll out the iApp Generator, a tool to simplify Trusted AI applications, including AI agent development.

- Strategic Partnerships: Building on its 2024 Gold Membership in Intel’s Partner Alliance, iExec intends to strengthen its partnerships with both Intel and Nvidia. This will further bolster the infrastructure necessary for advanced machine learning, aligning with the growing demand for privacy-preserving AI solutions.
Ecosystem Development and Technological Advancements
iExec’s commitment to fostering a robust ecosystem extends to strategic collaborations across several key areas:
- Partnerships and Collaborations: iExec will pursue partnerships in AI, DePIN, and decentralized computing, encompassing technologies such as TEEs, GPUs, and storage. The goal is to drive adoption and increase the availability of TEE machines on its network, allowing external entities to manage workerpools while complying with iExec’s governance and confidential computing standards.
- Continued Support for AI Projects: iExec will renew its collaboration with Start in Block, which followed the 2024 $10 million startup competition. iExec will continue to allocate resources to AI projects and development initiatives, strengthening partnerships with Nvidia, the Confidential Computing Consortium, and ADAN. These efforts are designed to unlock new RLC use cases while supporting Web3 education and blockchain integration.
Prioritizing Scalability and Accessibility
Technological advancements in 2025 will focus on scalability and developer ease of use:
- Enhanced GPU Capabilities: iExec will deploy more TEE-enabled GPUs to power confidential AI applications.
- New Developer Tools: The introduction of tools such as the iApp Generator for secure, privacy-focused applications using TEEs, as well as Web3Mail and Web3Telegram, allowing projects to send messages securely to users without revealing email addresses or Telegram handles.
- Data Processing Enhancements: Datapools will enable multi-dataset tasks, reducing costs and network congestion. Efforts on the iExec Sidechain (Bellecour) and Layer-2 research will focus on increasing throughput and improving Ethereum interoperability, opening the door to new RLC use cases.
- Performance Optimization: Further optimization of iExec’s consensus algorithm (PoCo) and middleware to ensure robust support for next-generation applications.
Marketing and Community Engagement
To increase its visibility, iExec will implement a multifaceted marketing strategy:
- Targeted Campaigns and Community Engagement: A collaboration with CoinMarketCap will feature live sessions, articles, and social promotions. Expanded rewards programs will offer RLC incentives via new platforms.
- Global Event Presence: iExec will have a presence at major industry events, including ETHDenver, Consensus Hong Kong, Token 2049, ETHCC, and Devconnect, including hackathons and sponsorships.
By executing on its 2025 roadmap, iExec aims to reinforce its role as a core component of Web3 infrastructure, providing developers and users with secure, scalable, and accessible solutions.
