Imagine a business operating at its peak: data processed instantly, customer inquiries resolved in seconds, and routine tasks automated. This isn’t a futuristic fantasy but the reality being created by QazCode. The company will showcase its cutting-edge AI solutions at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, from March 3-6, 2025.
Kazakhstan’s AI Advancement: A Global Leader
Kazakhstan has been strategically developing its technological infrastructure, leading to a surge in innovative companies and significant investment in artificial intelligence and related technologies. The nation’s commitment has yielded impressive results. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) recognized Kazakhstan’s progress, ranking it among the top 50 countries globally for AI readiness in 2023 and ahead of all other Central Asian countries.
This high ranking reflects a comprehensive strategy to cultivate a robust digital ecosystem. QazCode’s participation at MWC 2025 further underscores the country’s success in the field.
“Kazakhstan is working to achieve parity with global leaders in digitalization by actively developing its infrastructure, IT sector, and human capital,” said Oleksii Sharavar, CEO of QazCode. “We are excited to present our achievements on the international platform of MWC, where we can showcase how our technologies optimize business processes and enable new accomplishments. This event also provides a great opportunity to establish partnerships with industry leaders and share experiences to further develop the technology ecosystem within the region.”
Introducing KAZ-LLM: The Groundbreaking Localized Language Model
One of QazCode’s significant projects is the development of KAZ-LLM, the first national language model. This model – built in collaboration with the Institute of Smart Systems and AI (ISSAI NU) and Astana Hub, under the coordination of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan – aims to increase technology accessibility for all language groups. The model won the GSMA Foundry Excellence Award 2025 in the Artificial Intelligence category.
The KAZ-LLM is based on 150 billion tokens and supports Kazakh, Russian, English, and Turkish. It’s designed for local applications and considered a localized version of GPT. The model has been supported by 8 DGX H100 GPUs, vastly accelerating the learning and processing of large datasets.
KAZ-LLM empowers businesses to develop advanced chatbots, customer support systems, and streamline document management, while also facilitating data analysis. For example, it can enhance local language request processing in banking and improve user experiences for retailers. Educational institutions can employ it for language learning application development.
QazCode is collaborating with international organizations such as GSMA Foundry and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center to share best practices and implement global AI standards. In the summer of 2024, QazCode announced the creation of Central Asia’s first GPU cloud for AI product development using NVIDIA technology.
AI: A Catalyst for Business Transformation
Recent data shows that 98.4% of companies worldwide have increased their AI investments, and 90.5% identify it as a key component of their strategic initiatives. This underscores the critical role of AI in achieving business objectives and maintaining a competitive edge.
MWC 2025 will provide a platform to showcase solutions designed to solve complex business challenges and improve people’s daily lives through advanced technologies:
- AI RAG Powered Chatbots and Intelligent Agents: These solutions blend a powerful search model with generative GPT to promptly analyze both text and visual data. This facilitates efficient processing of substantial information volumes for businesses. One clear benefit is reducing customer query resolution times from hours to seconds, resulting in an 85% reduction in query time. This can directly benefit ROI.
- AI Tutor: AI Tutor is a system designed to assist students and pupils by auto-generating tailored lessons and tests. It supports various languages, including Kazakh, Turkish, English, and Russian, making it adaptable to the needs of diverse users. AI Tutor will be demonstrated at MWC 2025, exhibiting the ability of AI to make learning more accessible, efficient, and open new possibilities in the education process.
QazCode’s solutions are designed to meet the needs of all business sizes and cultural sensitivities. They offer scalability and flexibility and are suitable for both small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and large corporations.
