    Progress Names Ed Keisling as Chief AI Officer

    BURLINGTON, Mass., February 27, 2025 – Progress (Nasdaq: PRGS), a leading provider of AI-powered digital experience and infrastructure software, today announced the appointment of Ed Keisling as the company’s first Chief AI Officer (CAIO). This strategic move signals Progress’s commitment to expanding its AI capabilities and integrating them further into its product offerings.

    In his new role, Keisling will be responsible for spearheading Progress’s AI strategy. He will also oversee the ongoing transformation of the company’s product portfolio. His focus will be on empowering customers in their own AI initiatives. Keisling will report directly to Progress CEO Yogesh Gupta.

    Before his appointment as CAIO, Keisling served as Senior Vice President of Engineering for Infrastructure Management at Progress. In this role, he played a key role in driving innovation and improving operational efficiency. Prior to joining Progress, he held several executive positions in the technology sector, specializing in complex system architectures, cloud computing, and large-scale infrastructure management. He was a member of the executive leadership team at Vecna Technologies, where he oversaw Engineering, IT, DevOps, Support, Program Management, and Analytics. He also spent over 17 years in senior engineering roles at Pegasystems.

    Keisling also actively participates in engineering development programs, including the UNH Pathways Program and the MIT Undergraduate Practice Opportunities Program (UPOP), where he mentors and presents to students.
