    During the Microsoft’s AI Tour stops in Bengaluru and New Delhi, several organizations showcased their innovative use of AI to tackle complex challenges and drive transformative efficiencies across industries.

    MakeMyTrip Powers the Future of Travel

    MakeMyTrip (MMT), a leading online travel company in India, is enhancing the travel shopping experience with generative AI. MMT’s conversational bot, Myra, is being integrated with an AI-powered workflow to assist users seamlessly throughout their travel journey—from planning to post-trip follow-up. Using large language models (LLMs) and orchestrated via Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Myra is leading the next generation of travel experiences.

    Persistent Systems Improves Contract Management

    Persistent Systems, a digital engineering and enterprise modernization service provider, has addressed inefficiencies in contract management using generative AI. Their AI-powered agent, ContractAssIst, built using generative AI and Microsoft 365 Copilot, transforms collaboration and streamlines internal contract negotiations, reducing emails by 95% and negotiation time by 70%. Persistent is deploying Microsoft 365 Copilot to nearly 2,000 users with expansion plans.

    LTIMindtree Unlocks Data Management

    LTIMindtree, a consulting and digital solutions company, is leveraging AI to drive digital transformation and enhance business operations. They use AI agents within Microsoft 365 Copilot to improve pre-sales, resource management, and cybersecurity. Custom AI agents assist resource management teams in finding the right employee for specific projects. Pre-sales and account managers also use AI agents to create high-quality responses for requests. Microsoft Security Copilot creates a unified command center for investigations, threat intelligence, and threat response. LTIMindtree has achieved a 30% increase in employee efficiency.

    Streamlining Health Claims with ICICI Lombard

    ICICI Lombard, a leading private insurer in India, has developed an AI-powered solution to streamline health claims processing. The solution extracts relevant information from documents using Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Document Intelligence, and Azure AI Vision OCR service, providing adjudicators with a consolidated view of the diagnosis and treatment. This innovation has reduced the time needed to process claims by more than 50%.

    eSanjeevani Transforms Healthcare Access

    eSanjeevani, India’s National Telemedicine Service, has integrated AI to enhance care and streamline teleconsultations. Powered by Azure, eSanjeevani provides secure and accessible doctor-to-doctor to doctor-to-patient teleconsultations. The company is also developing a proof of concept with Microsoft Copilot to transcribe doctor-patient conversations in real-time for advanced speech analytics. Serving more than 330 million patients, 98% from rural areas, eSanjeevani is the world’s largest telemedicine initiative in primary healthcare.
