Biograph Pioneers Proactive Healthcare with Advanced Diagnostics
Biograph, a preventive health and diagnostics clinic co-founded by longevity expert Dr. Peter Attia and tech entrepreneur John Hering, has launched with a focus on proactive healthcare and early detection of potential health issues. The clinic aims to help individuals enhance both their healthspan and lifespan through comprehensive assessments and cutting-edge technology.

Biograph collects over 1,000 data points from more than 30 medical evaluations to generate highly personalized health insights. The evaluations encompass five key health areas: cardiovascular disease, metabolic dysfunction, brain health, cancer risk, and overall quality of life.
Cutting-Edge Diagnostics
Advanced diagnostics are central to Biograph’s approach. The clinic utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including whole-body MRI scans, cardiovascular imaging, genetic testing, neurocognitive assessments, and multi-cancer early detection tests. This integrated approach provides a comprehensive view of a patient’s health, enabling precise interventions and lifestyle modifications.
Dr. Attia emphasized the importance of diagnostics, stating, “Diagnostics are foundational to evaluating and implementing an effective health strategy informed by a systems-based approach, as well as comprehensive analyses that consider each data point within the context of an individual’s entire health picture.” He further recommends Biograph to his patients due to the clinic’s best-in-class evaluation process.
Personalized Healthcare
Biograph’s strategy focuses on identifying and addressing health issues before symptoms appear, shifting the emphasis from treating diseases to optimizing long-term wellness. The clinic offers two membership tiers: the “Core” membership, priced at $7,500, includes a detailed, one-time health assessment. The “Black” membership, available for $15,000, provides ongoing expert support, regular specialist consultations, and at-home monitoring tools to refine health strategies.
Biograph’s methodology has already proven effective, as it found urgent health insights in over 15% of its members, which included conditions such as cancer, heart disease, and neurodegenerative disorders. The clinic has developed its methods under the guidance of Dr. Michael Doney, an emergency medicine physician who transitioned to precision longevity research.
Dr. Doney, serving as Biograph’s executive medical director, highlighted the clinic’s commitment to in-depth analysis, stating, “We are committed to providing the most in-depth analysis of a broad range of health factors, enabling members to not only extend their lifespan but, more importantly, to optimize their healthspan and overall quality of life.”
Expansion Plans
Biograph is now expanding, and its second clinic is set to open in New York City’s financial district soon, with plans to establish as many as six additional locations both nationally and globally. The clinic was founded on the idea that using advanced technology and early detection can save lives, as described by Hering, who said the inspiration was sparked by a close friend’s cancer diagnosis. He adds, “There is no greater investment we can make in the future, as individuals or humanity, than in our health. With an approach rooted in scientific evidence, Biograph is poised to be an integral catalyst helping to redefine what it means to live a better and longer life.”
