Adobe and Microsoft Partner on AI Marketing Agent
Adobe has expanded its collaboration with Microsoft, introducing the new Adobe Marketing Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot. This AI-powered tool is designed to help marketers streamline key processes directly within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
The Adobe Marketing Agent, unveiled at the recent Adobe Summit, is currently in private preview. It promises to empower marketers to access data insights, personalize campaigns, and optimize workflows without leaving familiar Microsoft applications like Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
“Businesses are under pressure to retain a competitive edge by increasing the efficiency and productivity of their organisations,” said Amit Ahuja, senior vice president of digital experience business at Adobe.
Adobe’s Marketing Agent integrates with Adobe Experience Platform, generates insights from Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, and connects with Adobe Workfront. This enables marketing teams to plan, create, manage, activate, and measure campaigns, as well as personalize customer experiences within their existing Microsoft workflow.
Microsoft is enthusiastic about the collaboration. Charles Lamanna, corporate vice president, business and industry copilot at Microsoft, stated, “We are thrilled that Adobe has developed an agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot to assist marketers in creating impactful campaigns and enhancing customer experiences.”
Adobe is also developing the Adobe Express Agent, which is designed to help users create assets directly within Microsoft 365 Copilot and associated applications. This second agent aims to generate high-quality images for documents, presentations, and social media.
Further expanding their offerings, Adobe showcased its Adobe Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator, which enables businesses to manage and orchestrate AI agents from Adobe and third parties to enhance customer experience workflows.
In addition to the Marketing Agent, Adobe announced an expanded collaboration with LinkedIn Ads, enabling marketing teams to create campaign assets for business-to-business marketing in GenStudio for Performance Marketing. Asset creation for display ads is also now available for advertisements served through Microsoft Advertising.
