Amazon has rolled out a major update to its Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series televisions, introducing two significant features that enhance both the viewing experience and accessibility. The first feature, called Interactive Art, builds upon the existing Ambient Experience by adding interactive scenes that respond to viewer movement. The second feature, Dual Audio, allows users with hearing aids to stream high-quality audio directly to their devices while others continue to listen through the TV’s speakers.
Interactive Art Feature
The new Interactive Art feature transforms the TV into a dynamic display of interactive artwork when not in use. Users can choose from over 10 different scenes, including animations like fluttering butterflies, swimming koi fish, and colorful tiles. Amazon’s high-fidelity radar sensor technology brings these scenes to life by responding to the viewer’s movements in front of the TV.

To access Interactive Art, users simply need to ask Alexa to open the Ambient Experience and select the Interactive Art tile. This update expands the existing Ambient Experience feature, which previously allowed users to display stunning artwork and overlay widgets like notes and reminders on their TV screens.
Enhanced Accessibility with Dual Audio
The second major update introduces Dual Audio functionality, designed to make Fire TV more inclusive for users with hearing aids. This feature allows compatible hearing aids to stream high-quality audio directly from the TV while others in the room can continue listening through the built-in speakers.
To enable Dual Audio, users can navigate to the Settings menu on their Fire TV, access the Accessibility options, and pair their compatible hearing aids. This feature is now available for all Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series users with the latest software update in supported countries.
Technical Specifications and Availability
The Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series TVs that are receiving these updates offer impressive technical specifications, including support for Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos, along with hands-free Alexa voice control. For instance, the 55-inch model is available for £749, down from £849.
These updates demonstrate Amazon’s commitment to both enhancing the visual experience and improving accessibility on their Fire TV platform. The combination of interactive features and accessibility improvements positions the Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series as a competitive option in the modern smart TV market.
