Amazon has issued a statement in response to the Public Utility Commission’s (PUC) decision regarding the company’s request concerning backup generation.
“We appreciate the clarity provided by the Public Utility Commission today regarding our request and the regulatory framework and requirements related to backup generation,” said Duncan Neasham, an Amazon spokesperson, in a statement released Friday. “We remain committed to working collaboratively with state leaders to determine the best path forward for any future projects.”
