Amazon’s highly anticipated spring discounts are just around the corner, and the excitement is building. We’ll soon have a clearer picture of the deals on offer.
What to Expect from Amazon’s Spring Sale 2025
Since 2022, Amazon’s Spring Deal Days, the official name for the event, have been a significant opportunity to snag tech, home appliances, and other big-ticket items at prices rivalling those of Black Friday. Previous sales events have featured enticing discounts, such as £20 off Apple AirPods and £30 off Shark vacuum cleaners. Expect to see flash deals throughout the sale, with limited-time discounts available on a selection of key products. If you’re planning to replace an old kitchen appliance or invest in some new tech, mark your calendar for the Amazon spring sale 2025.
When is the Amazon Spring Sale?
Based on previous years, Amazon’s spring sales typically occur in late March. Last year’s sale ran from March 20-25. Although the official dates haven’t been announced for this year, we can anticipate that the first major Amazon UK sale of the year will likely take place within the next few weeks.
How long does the Amazon Spring Sale last?
Historically, spring sales have spanned five days, and we can expect a similar duration for this year’s event.
Are Amazon spring sale deals better than Prime Day?
The spring sale is open to everyone, not just Prime members. As a result, spring sales can compete with Prime Day in terms of popularity. However, the specific deals will likely differ depending on what you’re looking to buy. For example, gardening equipment sees high seasonal demand, so fewer discounts are available.
Is the Amazon spring sale worth waiting for?
While some tempting discounts are available now, prices sometimes rise during sale events because of increased interest. If you find a discount greater than 15% on a product, it might be worth purchasing now. Be sure to use a price-tracking site like CamelCamelCamel to check the average price, rather than just the discount percentage you see on Amazon. With the current promotions, it’s always a good idea to compare prices to make sure you are getting the best value.
Do you need a Prime membership to join the Amazon Spring Sale?
No, the Amazon spring sale discounts are open to all customers. Prime membership is most valuable during Prime Day sales, which usually take place in July and October, when the deepest discounts on some products are reserved for Prime members.
Best categories to shop during the Amazon Spring Sale
Tech and home appliances generally feature the most appealing discounts, especially on Amazon’s own-brand technology. Consider Fire TVs, which are often compared favourably to other 4K TVs by reviewers, as well as Fire tablets, which are popular with families and students. Keep an eye out for discounts on Amazon’s Kindle e-books, and the Amazon Echo smart speaker, which consistently gets high ratings. The best discounts are often available during the event.
While the exact dates for the Amazon spring sale remain unconfirmed, there are currently deals on the site that are approximately 10-15% off the usual price; these are about as good as you’ll find during such events, where you can make the greatest savings.
It’s essential to approach larger discounts with a measure of skepticism, as these are often calculated against the full RRP. Many products are never sold at their full retail price, so understanding real value requires using third-party price-tracking sites like CamelCamelCamel, PriceChecker, or Keepa. We regularly check prices on expert buyer’s guides and have the following products on sale significantly under their usual price. The prices could drop further during the spring sale, so it’s also worth keeping an eye on these products:

Best Amazon Deals Today on Products We’ve Tried and Tested
The list below shows the best Amazon deals on products that we have tried and tested. We have calculated the discounts against the average price, rather than the full price, so don’t be surprised if the percentages don’t match up with the larger percentages you see on the Amazon landing page.
- Garmin Venu 3S 8% off (usually £394, now £363.12) Best smartwatch deal Garmin: tracks 15 health parameters and has 30 pre-loaded sports The price of the Garmin Venu 3S, a regular recipient of Amazon discounts, may fluctuate heading into the sale. It previously reached a low of £354 a few weeks ago. This smartwatch also topped our review of the best fitness trackers, receiving a perfect score. Reviewer Alice Barraclough noted, “As a runner, I loved how quick it was to find a GPS signal and how accurate it was. But it’s the more advanced features like stress tracking, speaker and microphone, wheelchair set-up, menstrual cycle and pregnancy tracking and Garmin’s Body Battery energy monitoring that make the Venu 3 stand out.”

- Lenovo Tab Plus 11.5 inch 20% off (usually £236, now £189) Best tablet deal Lenovo: equipped with JBL speakers We considered Lenovo’s Tab Plus the best value tablet even before this discount. In her guide to the best tablets, reviewer Britta O’Boyle said: “The Tab Plus delivers versatility, great battery life and a compelling price point compared to several other tablets in the market. The resolution delivers lovely detail and there’s a reading mode that comes in handy for an evening skim of your current novel. While it isn’t going to replace your laptop, there are some great software features and it’s very easy to recommend.”

- Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with Anti Hair Wrap 10% off (usually £200, now £179) Best vacuum cleaner deal Shark: bends in the middle and converts into a hand-held This light and affordable stick vac from Shark was a top pick in our guide to the best cordless vacuum cleaners until its replacement, the IZ300, with a battery that lasts 50% longer, was released. Abigail Buchanan said: “It comes with an excellent range of accessories and is especially good for cleaning up pet hair. ‘Flexology’ is a genuinely innovative feature, whereby the vacuum bends at the mid point, so you can get under furniture without having to bend over. Shark’s famous anti hair-wrap technology is remarkably good at stopping hair from wrapping round the brush roll.”

- Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone 9.5L 12% off (usually £195, now £170.69) Best air fryer deal Ninja: lets you cook two dishes to be ready at the same time This is the previous AF400 model, recently replaced by the AF451, which includes a built-in temperature probe (currently sold out). In our guide to the best air fryers, reviewer Rebecca Astill said: “Ninja’s dual zone air fryer is the most advanced fryer I’ve tried and the most powerful. The beauty is the ‘sync’ feature. It means you can set each drawer to a different time and temperature and the air fryer will ensure both finish at the same time. I will note that this air fryer has a large footprint and is reasonably heavy, at nearly 9kg. But it cooks food evenly and at the moment, I’m using it more than my oven.”

- Instant Vortex Plus Dual Drawer Air Fryer with ClearCook 10% off (usually £100, now £90) Second best air fryer deal Instant: two baskets, eight cooking programmes Air fryers are consistently popular during Amazon sales, particularly the two-drawer models, allowing you to cook two dishes simultaneously. This model from Instant was a top performer in our guide to the best dual air fryers. Reviewer Rebecca Shepherd said: “The Instant Vortex costs no more than 42p an hour to run and you’re likely to run it for a fraction of that. The control panel is easy to use and the viewing windows, which can be lit up, let you view your food while it cooks. Aside from the slightly smaller-than-expected 3.8-litre baskets, no other negatives come to mind. Instant has pulled it out of the bag with this double-air fryer design.”

- Oral-B iO3 22% off (usually £95.49, now £74.99) Best electric toothbrush deal Oral-B: best budget sonic toothbrush Replacement heads for Oral-B’s iO sonic toothbrushes cost twice as much as the Pro series, but if you’ve decided to upgrade, the iO3 is the most affordable. Reviewer Rebecca Astill named it the best budget sonic option in our guide to the best electric toothbrushes. Rebecca said: “The battery life is average and 16 hours to charge is a long time, but I’d highly recommend the iO3, which comes with three brushing modes. One handy feature is the LED brush head replacement reminder. The top of the handle also has a pressure sensor, flashing green or red according to how hard you’re pressing.”

- Russell Hobbs One-Temperature Steam Iron 12% off (usually £40, now £34.99) Best steam iron deal Russell Hobbs: safe on all iron-able fabrics The price of this one-temperature iron has dipped towards £20 in previous sales events. However, even at its usual price of £40, it’s considered the best value steam iron on the market. As Madeleine Howell noted, “its single setting is safe to use on all ‘iron-able’ fabrics (around 140 degrees Celcius). That means you don’t have to think about it being too hot or not hot enough to be effective. You can also use it for vertical steaming, on clothes which are hanging up, and for dry ironing on silk and satin which should not be steam-ironed. With a two-year guarantee, it’s a decent affordable option.”

- Blueair Blue Max 3250 Auto 15% off (usually £117, now £99) Best air purifier deal BlueAir: officially quieter than a whisper This Swedish model was the best looking and quietest air purifier in our guide to the best air purifiers, emitting just 18dB on its lowest setting, which costs 0.1p per hour to run. The article’s writer tested two generations of this purifier and wrote: “This new generation has almost twice the clean air delivery rate (CADR) and can clear pollutants from a 48m2 space in half an hour. The Blue Max Auto is remarkably good at detecting when it needs to power up the fan, for example when you’re cooking something smoky, and when it can power down again to its quietest setting. Overall, one of the most practical, unobtrusive and handsome purifiers you can buy.”

- ASUS Vivobook S15 OLED 15% off (usually £1,122, now £949.99) Best laptop deal ASUS: slim and reasonably priced Instead of a percentage, the Amazon listing shows this laptop is on sale for £172 less than usual. This is a slightly different version of the Vivobook S16 which Rob Waugh reviewed in his guide to the best laptops for students. It’s slightly smaller and not as rugged, and uses the same ultra high definition OLED screen, which has been a rarity on laptops at this price. Rob said: “The 3.2K Lumina OLED screen here is a great performer, delivering gorgeous colours with films and desktop apps. There is also a special key for launching Windows’ AI Copilot. Battery life is average, at just over nine hours, but overall this offers a very slim, very delectable PC for a very reasonable price.”
