AWS Launches Consumer Goods Competency
The consumer goods sector is experiencing rapid transformation due to shifting consumer preferences, supply chain challenges, and emerging technologies. To support this evolution, AWS has announced the AWS Consumer Goods Competency, a new AWS Partner Network (APN) Specialization Program.
Consumer goods companies need to adapt quickly, leverage data effectively, and maintain a customer-centric approach to stay competitive. According to McKinsey Global Institute research, technology could generate considerable cost savings in the coming decade: 55โ60% in the supply chain, 45โ55% in back-office functions, and 40โ45% in commercial functions. Key technologies driving these changes include generative and applied AI, robotics, advanced analytics, and autonomous vehicles.
