Bangladeshi Edtech Startup Gains Global Recognition

Rectify Learn, an innovative edtech platform founded by three students from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), has achieved significant recognition in the global startup ecosystem. The AI-powered learning platform, developed by Raiyan Bin Sarwar (COO), Ismail Ariyan (CEO), and Al Hadi Elaf (CTO), has been accepted into four prestigious global entrepreneurship support programs while still in its early development phase.

    Core Features and Development

The platform focuses on addressing common learning challenges through three primary features: adaptive quizzes with AI tutoring, confidence-based flashcards, and active recall techniques. Currently in beta testing, the team plans to introduce additional features such as gamified learning and live peer interaction in future updates. The beta version of Rectify Learn was launched in early May 2025.

    Global Recognition and Benefits

As part of the Ideate tier of Microsoft for Startups, Rectify Learn is receiving comprehensive support tailored for early-stage ventures. This includes $1,000 in Azure credits for token-based backend integrations, AI functionalities, and hosting. Other benefits comprise access to GitHub Enterprise, Microsoft 365, a discounted LinkedIn Premium subscription, and OpenAI tools, along with valuable mentorship, technical resources, and community support. GitHub for Startups is providing free access to GitHub Enterprise, enabling efficient development using private code repositories and automation tools. Notion for Startups has offered three months of free access to the Notion Business Plan, unlocking premium collaboration and productivity features. Miro for Startups has awarded up to $1,000 in credits, providing access to unlimited whiteboards and real-time collaboration tools.

    Future Plans and Monetization

The team is continuously refining the platform based on user feedback, having already implemented features like social media authentication. Future plans include introducing a pay-as-you-go model (priced between BDT 30-50 per use) and a premium subscription tier, along with a credit-card-free payment system to ensure wider accessibility. Sarwar’s role as a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador likely facilitated the startup’s acceptance into the Microsoft for Startups program after a rigorous five-to-seven-day review process.
