PHILADELPHIA, PA – Carpenter Technology Corporation (NYSE: CRS) has announced the appointment of Julie A. Beck to its Board of Directors, effective from February 20, 2025. This addition increases the board’s size to 12 members, with 11 of those being independent directors.
Ms. Beck brings over three decades of experience in leadership roles within finance and manufacturing to Carpenter Technology. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Terex Corporation, a global provider of materials processing machinery and aerial work platforms. Before her time at Terex, Ms. Beck held the CFO position at NOVA Chemicals. She also served as Global Vice President of Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, and Quality at Joy Global, Inc., where she also held the CFO role for its Joy Mining Machinery subsidiary. Earlier in her career, Ms. Beck held financial leadership positions at the Journal Register Company and Norwood Promotional Products, Inc. She began her professional journey with Deloitte.
In addition to her executive achievements, Ms. Beck has significant experience on boards, having served on the Audit Committees of multiple public and nonprofit organizations.
