China’s Ministry of Education is implementing measures to enhance graduate employability amidst a rising number of job seekers. A recent directive calls for universities across the country to expand vocational training and integrate artificial intelligence (AI) applications into their curricula.
To address the challenges of a competitive job market, universities are now tasked with establishing vocational training centers. Moreover, collaboration with businesses is encouraged to develop 1,000 micro-majors and 1,000 vocational training courses. These initiatives aim to equip students with practical skills that align with current industry demands, particularly in the rapidly evolving field of AI.
