HR technology startup Darwinbox announced on Wednesday the closing of a $140 million funding round. This investment was co-led by prominent private equity firms Partners Group and KKR, with additional participation from Gravity Holdings.

Launched in 2015, Darwinbox focuses on AI-backed HR management, providing its services with a mobile-first approach. The company’s cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) software is designed to manage the full employee lifecycle, catering to a wide range of HR needs for enterprises.

Darwinbox is currently supported by a group of global investors representing high levels in the industry, including TCV, Microsoft, Salesforce Ventures, Peak XV, Lightspeed, and Endiya Partners.

“With top-tier investors backing us, we’re poised to amplify our global momentum and deliver innovative AI‐powered solutions for thousands of enterprises worldwide,” confirmed Jayant Paleti, Co‐founder of Darwinbox. Further updates will follow.
