Deep Sentinel, a pioneering AI-driven security company, has successfully closed an oversubscribed $15 million Series B funding round led by Egis Capital Partners. The investment round saw continued support from existing investors, including Intel Capital, Shasta Ventures, UP2398, and Slow Launch Fund.
Deep Sentinel’s innovative security approach combines artificial intelligence with live human security personnel to provide proactive crime prevention. The company’s proprietary platform continuously monitors video feeds in real-time, enabling trained guards to intervene within seconds of detecting suspicious activity. This cutting-edge technology can be seamlessly integrated with existing camera hardware, eliminating the need for costly equipment upgrades and reducing initial investment costs.
The addition of Egis Capital Partners brings more than just financial backing to Deep Sentinel. With their extensive experience in physical security and technology, Egis provides strategic insight and operational expertise to support Deep Sentinel’s growth and scalability. The company has demonstrated significant momentum, doubling its sales bookings year-over-year and outperforming traditional industry players who typically grow at an annual rate of 20-30%.
The latest funding will be utilized to drive Deep Sentinel’s rapid expansion, further develop its AI models, and scale its Bring Your Own Camera (BYOC) third-party camera integration program, which now accounts for nearly half of all sales. The company is also focused on expanding its national presence across both commercial and residential sectors.
David Selinger, founder and CEO of Deep Sentinel, commented, “This funding marks a new chapter in our mission to redefine proactive security. We’re not just adding more cameras or software features; we’re transforming how people experience safety with a platform that delivers real-time intervention at the highest industry standard.” He further emphasized the company’s ability to integrate with major camera brands, allowing businesses to enhance their existing hardware capabilities without the need for complete replacement.
Robert Chefitz, Founder and Managing Partner at Egis Capital Partners, expressed enthusiasm for leading Deep Sentinel’s Series B financing. “We are thrilled to back Deep Sentinel, led by David Selinger, and support their vision of making every family, business, and community safe and secure. Since 2008, Egis has been a dedicated investor in the security and safety industry, and Deep Sentinel represents our fifth investment in remote video monitoring across our three funds.”
