DeepRoute.ai Unveils AI Spark Platform, Expanding Beyond Smart Cars and Aiming for RoadAGI

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — DeepRoute.ai, a leader in the development and deployment of comprehensive smart driving solutions, has launched the AI Spark platform. This platform aims to create an AI-driven “road brain” system, extending its capabilities beyond automobiles to empower other moving objects. This move marks a significant step in the company’s pursuit of RoadAGI—artificial general intelligence on the road—with the goal of bringing advanced AI-driven mobility to an even broader range of applications across different industries.

Powered by a Vision-Language-Navigation model, the AI Spark platform allows a wide variety of objects to understand natural language commands, interpret their surroundings, and navigate autonomously, from one address to another, without relying on high-definition maps. The platform is designed to seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor environments while providing for flexible and safe interactions with its surroundings to successfully complete assigned tasks.

This new development builds on DeepRoute.ai’s experience in the mass production of smart driving cars. Since last August, the total sales of vehicles equipped with DeepRoute.ai’s solution have exceeded 40,000 units, with new car models featuring the Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model slated for launch in mid-2025. DeepRoute.ai’s models are continuously evolving, with projected sales exceeding 200,000 units. These advancements improve spatial perception, understanding, and interaction capabilities, creating a strong foundation for the next phase of RoadAGI.

“Expanding beyond smart driving cars is a natural progression of our AI strategy,” said Maxwell Zhou, CEO of DeepRoute.ai. “With tens of millions of miles of road data, we’re expediting the pace to build a ‘road brain’ that will empower everything on the road, ultimately enhancing our daily lives. The AI Spark system can enable the robot to transit seamlessly from kitchens to public roads, to offices and parks.”

DeepRoute.ai is showcasing its latest smart driving advancements, including a demo of the AI Spark and its RoadAGI strategy, at its exhibition booth #1843 at NVIDIA GTC. CEO Maxwell Zhou will also deliver a virtual speech during the event, sharing his insights into the company’s vision for expanding AI-driven mobility beyond cars.
