
Digital Health Unplugged, hosted by Jordan Sollof, brings the latest news and discussions in health technology and NHS IT. In a special video edition, Sollof reported live from day one of Rewired 2025 at the NEC in Birmingham.
Sollof spoke with a number of speakers, session chairs, and exhibitors to get their insights on this year’s hot topics in digital and data.
One of the first discussions was with Damian Pearce, chief commercial officer at Stalis, regarding the impact of AI on healthcare and highlights from the AI and Data Stage.
Next, Alan Payne, group product and engineering director at The Access Group, a co-sponsor of Rewired 2025, shared key takeaways from his session on ‘Putting people at the heart of health and social care’ on the Integrated Care Stage.
Lee Rickles, chief information officer at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, discussed the government’s disbandment of NHS England and its potential implications for the digital health sector. Rickles also mentioned his sessions on ‘Putting people at the heart of health and social care’ and ‘Enhancing cross-sector partnerships: From primary to communities’.
Finally, Sollof met with Paul Deffley, UK chief medical officer at Alcidion, to discuss his upcoming session on ‘Transforming clinical support with digital systems and platforms’, scheduled for the Best Practice Showcase Stage.
