Donatos Pizza is revolutionizing its ordering process by implementing Revmo AI’s artificial intelligence technology to automate phone orders. The company announced on Monday that it will transition from DoorDash AI’s automated order features to Revmo AI’s system by May, integrating it across all 174 of its restaurants.

The decision aligns with CEO Kevin King’s focus on automation as a key strategy since his promotion to the top executive role in October. Revmo’s AI system boasts advanced capabilities, including seamless integration with Donatos’ point-of-sale platform, secure credit card processing, and coupon recognition. Its proprietary “INSANO Mode” voice engine provides a human-like conversational experience, ensuring a fast and convenient ordering process while minimizing errors and wait times.
Strategic Expansion and Growth
The adoption of Revmo AI is particularly significant as Donatos targets mid-to-high single-digit comparable sales growth and maintains store-level EBITDA between 15% and 20%. The company is also expanding its operations, having signed eight multi-unit deals last year with new locations in North Carolina, Virginia, and Texas. Donatos plans to substantially increase its presence in Texas, aiming for 100 locations over time.
