Omari Edwards, CEO of Technology for {You}th, said, “Technology has and will continue to reshape the world, having brought with it abundant opportunities that have positively impacted generations of families. However, technology has also brought with it the threat of being left behind for those who are not included or adequately trained. We at Technology for {You}th recognized this gap, and are excited to provide a one of a kind two-day Technology Showcase for local youth at the East Orange Public Library – where K-12 students will gain digital literacy and practical tech skills in Robotics, AI, Coding, and more; obtaining the “spark” that will enable them to pursue, participate, and ultimately excel in the future of work.”
