Elon Musk Reacts to Satya Nadella’s Video on AI in Indian Agriculture
Elon Musk has weighed in on a video shared by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, which highlights the positive impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Indian agriculture. The video, taken during Nadella’s recent visit to India, details how AI is being used to help small farmers improve their land yield.

Nadella’s video showcases how AI is helping small farmers increase their productivity. Specifically mentioned are significant reductions in chemical usage, and improvements in water management practices. Musk responded to the post with enthusiasm, stating, “AI will improve everything.”
In the video, Nadella stated, “A fantastic example of AI’s impact on agriculture.”
Nadella explained that AI is enabling farmers to utilize technology to improve their land yield.
“The one example that I wanted to highlight was one of the small farmers who was part of the Baramati Co-op where you can take this powerful technology, and make it have impact where a small landowner is able to improve the yield of their land. And the numbers they shared in terms of reduction in chemicals, improvement in water usage, and ultimately yield was phenomenal,” Nadella said.
“One of the things it does is sensor fusion. We’ve been talking about it for decades. This is using geospatial data spatial temporal data from drones from satellites from soil all getting connected in real time, and then to apply AI to it and then translate it back into know, asking questions in there vernacular language,” Nadella added.
“That’s the stitching together. It’s pretty phenomenal to see.”
This isn’t the first time that Musk has responded to Nadella’s posts. Musk also commented on a prior post about breakthroughs in quantum computing.
Nadella highlighted the breakthrough, stating, “We’ve created an entirely new state of matter, unlocked by a new class of materials—topoconductors-that enable a fundamental leap in computing.”
Musk replied to that post, saying, “More and more breakthroughs with quantum computing …”.
