Emids, a Nashville-based digital service provider serving the healthcare and life sciences sectors, announced the appointment of Abhishek Shankar as its new chief executive officer.
A press release from Emids highlighted Shankar’s extensive experience, spanning over two decades. Before joining Emids, Shankar served as president of the communications business for Tech Mahindra in the Americas. His background also includes a tenure as senior vice president at HCL, where he led the technology and life sciences business across the Americas.
In his new role, Shankar is expected to guide Emids in its mission to become a key technology partner, facilitating the adoption of emerging innovations like artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud solutions. These solutions aim to improve efficiency within health-tech, payer, provider, and life science organizations.
