Event Technology Awards Announces 2025 Judging Panel
The Event Technology Awards (ETA) has revealed its judging panel for 2025, showcasing a diverse group of industry pioneers and experts from across the global events and technology sectors. Now in its twelfth year, the ETAs continue to spotlight innovation, creativity, and meaningful impact within the event tech landscape.
This year’s panel includes Anna Abdelnoor, co-founder of isla and a leading voice in sustainable events; Vanessa Lovatt, strategy consultant at FT Live; experiential expert Max Gethin; and David Bellisario, CEO of Hartley & Bell. They join a roster of respected professionals, including senior producers, digital strategists, and platform founders โ each bringing a unique lens to the judging process.

Among the most high-profile names on the panel are Julius Solaris and Dahlia El Gazzar โ two of the event industry’s most influential voices. Solaris, widely regarded as a leading authority on event tech and trends, brings years of insight from his time as founder of EventMB and now as a respected analyst and consultant. El Gazzar, known globally for her fearless advocacy of smart tech adoption and human-centred event design, is a sought-after speaker and strategist whose energy and expertise have shaped countless industry conversations. Their involvement adds serious weight and global credibility to this year’s judging process.
Entries are evaluated anonymously and independently via the evessio platform, with judges assessing submissions based on innovation, effectiveness, user experience, return on investment, and overall contribution to the evolution of event delivery. The process is designed to reward not only technical sophistication but the real-world results and creativity behind each solution.
For companies developing technologies that enable hybrid engagement, streamline operations, or support sustainable practices, the Event Technology Awards present a rare opportunity for recognition on a global stage. Finalists and winners receive increased visibility, credibility, and the chance to celebrate their team’s achievements in front of peers, partners, and potential clients.
Adam Parry, co-founder of Event Industry News and Event Tech Live, says: “> The Event Technology Awards were created to celebrate the people and platforms driving our industry forward. It’s inspiring to see the creativity, resilience, and vision behind this year’s entries โ and we’re proud to have a judging panel that reflects that same calibre. If you’re making a difference in this space, now’s the time to shout about it.”
The winners will be revealed during the Event Technology Awards ceremony in London on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, held alongside Event Tech Live. For more information and the full list of judges, visit eventtechnologyawards.co.uk.
