Filtration Technology Corporation (FTC) has expanded its manufacturing headquarters in Houston, Texas, USA, in response to increasing demand for its filtration and separation solutions. The expansion adds 55,000 square feet of space, bringing the total footprint to 130,000 square feet.

“This expansion provides the capacity and flexibility to continue delivering high-quality solutions to our customers while preparing for sustained growth,” said Tyler Johnson, president and CEO of FTC. “The additional space allows us to stay ahead of market demand and uphold our commitment to innovation and excellence within the industrial fluid processing industry.”

Beyond increasing its facility size, FTC has invested heavily in new production equipment. This includes upgrades to the latest manufacturing technologies and the addition of secondary production equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations, allowing for faster service and delivery to customers. The new facility minimizes the risk of downtime and ensures steady production through investments in duplicate and triplicate equipment, such as automated seaming, cutting, capping, and pleating machines, as well as storage technologies and additional generator capacity.

Additionally, an expanded R&D center now houses a state-of-the-art scanning electron microscope to support the development of next-generation filtration solutions. To support this growth and maintain its high standards, FTC has also expanded its team, adding key personnel that include a new Director of Operations and a new Quality Control Manager.

“These upgrades are about more than just expanding capacity,” commented Chris Wallace, senior corporate vice president of FTC. “Our investments in manufacturing capabilities, the R&D center, and experienced team members reinforce the strong foundational trust our customers place in us by ensuring we can deliver the reliable, advanced solutions they need.”

FTC’s Invicta line of cartridge filters and vessels is an example of their dedication to improving reliability and sustainability in the industrial fluid processing sector. Designed to enhance efficiency and lower operational costs, Invicta technology is a critical enabler for helping customers achieve their corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals as well as operational cost-efficiency goals.
