Former Augusta University Golfer Leads Revelyst Precision Sports Technology
Jeff Foster, a former Augusta University golf team member, has been appointed as the new president of Revelyst Precision Sports Technology. The company specializes in developing high-tech performance solutions for both professional and amateur golfers.
Foster takes over the leadership role from co-presidents Jon Watters and Scott Werbelow, who co-founded Foresight Sports in 2009. Watters and Werbelow began overseeing the Revelyst Precision Sports Technology platform in 2024. Revelyst owns several prominent golf technology brands, including Bushnell Golf, Foresight Sports, and PinSeeker, an app that organizes online golf tournaments paired with golf simulator software acquired in 2024.
Prior to joining Revelyst, Foster served as CEO of SkyTrak and chief strategy officer for GOLFTEC since 2022. GOLFTEC is a strategic partner of Foresight and provides tech-enabled golf instruction and club fittings. Foster’s career in golf spans over two decades, including more than 20 years as an executive with GolfNow, a division of the Golf Channel that facilitates online tee-time bookings.
“This is an exciting time for the golf industry, and I look forward to working with our talented team to bring new energy, ideas, and products to golfers everywhere,” Foster said in a statement.
Foster’s appointment comes at a significant time for the golf technology sector, with Revelyst positioned to leverage its portfolio of brands to innovate in golf performance solutions. The transition in leadership is expected to bring fresh perspectives to the company’s product development and market strategy.
