Freeman Launches Generative AI Tool
Global events company Freeman has introduced Key Takeaways, a web-based tool powered by Snapsight. This tool leverages generative AI to transcribe speakers’ words into text in real time, providing summaries of key insights. Key Takeaways enhances attendee engagement and retention of session content while offering comprehensive post-event reports for organizers.
“Key Takeaways represents our commitment to helping event organizers deliver content experiences that truly resonate with their audiences,” said Paul Fletcher, COO of audio visual and event technology at Freeman. The tool can be used as a standalone experience or integrated into existing event apps with minimal setup.
ASP Introduces Composer II for Event Websites
ASP has launched Composer II, an upgraded version of its event website creation platform. This new platform allows organizers to create customized event websites from scratch or choose from pre-set builds. Composer II offers features such as customizable on-brand maintenance mode, lazy loading, and dynamic functioning for improved performance.
“We aimed to create a cost-effective event website builder where clients can build what they imagine,” said Jon Benjamin, CEO of ASP. Over 30 event organizers are already using Composer II, including DWTC, Clarion Events, and Bauer Media Group.
XL8 Debuts Updated Conference Technology
XL8 has released an updated version of EventCAT, its AI-powered real-time machine translation technology. EventCAT provides live and accurate translations, subtitles, and transcripts for in-person conferences, virtual meetings, and live streaming events in 42 languages.
