GITEX Africa Morocco 2025 to Showcase Digital Innovation in Marrakech
The Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, the Digital Development Agency, and KAOUN International are excited to announce the third edition of GITEX Africa Morocco. The event is scheduled to take place in Marrakech from April 14 to 16, 2025. Key Features of GITEX Africa Morocco 2025
One of the highlights of GITEX Africa Morocco 2025 will be the Africa Future Connectivity Summit. This summit will bring together leaders in telecommunications, cloud computing, and data centers. The goal is to address the expansion of broadband, 5G deployment, and cloud-based advancements in Africa. It will also focus on public-private partnerships that will help shape the continent’s digital future.
Another key feature is the Diaspora Studio, which is designed to unite African innovators. This will provide a platform for investment, collaboration, and knowledge sharing between the African diaspora and local tech ecosystems.

H.E. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Minister Delegate in Charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Government of Morocco, said that the 2025 edition will reinforce Africa’s position as a global innovation hub and will bring together leaders and policymakers to promote collaboration.
In addition, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) will participate as the Economic Development Partner. The IFC’s presence underscores their commitment to fostering sustainable investment and digital transformation across the continent. Makhtar Diop, IFC’s Managing Director, will give a keynote address to discuss the role of tech-driven growth in Africa’s economic evolution.
In addition to the above, the SheWins Africa initiative will be featured. This initiative reinforces the mission of empowering women-led startups and promoting inclusive economic growth.
The 2025 edition will also expand its focus to include energy transition, mobility, edutech, and sports technologies. These sectors are vital for Africa’s sustainable economic development.
Mr. Mohammed Drissi Melyani, Director General of ADD, said that GITEX Africa Morocco has become a key platform for digital transformation and will address pressing issues related to digital economy resilience by showcasing strategic sectors such as Artificial Intelligence and Fintech, among others.
With over 1,400 exhibitors from over 130 countries, GITEX Africa Morocco is expected to attract thousands of professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors. The event will be a significant platform for showcasing innovation across AI, fintech, cybersecurity, health tech, and smart cities.
