Green Frontier Capital, India’s first venture capital firm dedicated to climate technology, is set to significantly increase its investments in 2025, aiming to bolster the nation’s shift toward a low-carbon economy.
In an interview, Sandiip Bhammer, the founder and co-managing partner, disclosed the firm’s strategic investment focus and plans to deploy Rs 100 crore this year. Green Frontier Capital’s investment strategy centers on companies addressing three key areas: decarbonization, digitization, and disruption.
The firm, which recently launched the Green Frontier Capital India Climate Opportunities Fund, a SEBI-approved Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) with a Rs 1,500 crore corpus, has already invested in 12 Indian companies.
