Amazon has officially announced Alexa+, a generative AI-powered upgrade to its virtual assistant, Alexa, after months of speculation.
The new service will cost $19.99 a month, but Amazon Prime members will be able to access it for free, at least initially. The company has not yet made any statements about increasing the cost of the Amazon Prime subscription to include the AI features.
